Special Yellow Sun
Special features
Each tube is designed for an area of 15x15 cm.
TKTX numbing creams have the same active ingredient percentage but vary in color blends. The cream offers different absorption properties to accommodate different skin types (yellow, gold, black, red, white, blue).
The numbing effect sets in in 1.5-2 hours and lasts up to 3-5 hours. For external use only! Do not use for more than 3 days in a row. A 24-hour patch test is required before use. Not for pregnant women or children. DO NOT CONSUME! If accidentally consumed, seek medical advice immediately.
Inform your artist or practitioner about the use of the cream. Do not use at the same time as other creams. No expiration date, store in a cool, dry place. Keep the lid tightly closed; if stored improperly, the cream may dry out. Color change after contact with air does not affect the effect.
Exclusion of liability in case of non-compliance with instructions or cancellation of appointment by the artist/practitioner.
Application
For optimal results, please note the following:
skin test : Make sure to perform a patch test 24 hours before application. Narcotics can react differently in each person, so this step is crucial.
Preparation :
- Avoid consuming alcohol or excessive milk 24 hours before use.
- Wash your hands thoroughly.
- Remove excess hair.
- Make sure the area to be treated is clean, dry and not cold.
- Apply a thick layer of cream, about 2-3 mm thick, to the area. Do not rub it in.
- Cover the area with plastic wrap, making sure it is airtight but not too tight. Masking tape is useful for hard-to-reach areas. This process prevents evaporation and promotes proper absorption into the skin.
- Wash your hands thoroughly after use.
Length of time :
- Leave the cream on for 1.5-2 hours (no longer than 2 hours).
- Remove the film and wipe or clean the area. Your artist or nurse can help with this step.
- For piercings:
- Foil is preferred if possible, but the cream should work without it.
- For particularly large areas (e.g. a full back), remove only sections of the sheet if possible to maintain numbness for longer. Make sure the cream stays thick for the full 2 hours to be absorbed efficiently. The extra 30 minutes can make a significant difference!
- Reapplication:
- Only reapply the cream once during the procedure to minimize the risk of infection.
For injured skin:
- Wash your hands thoroughly.
- Make sure the area is clean, dry and not cold.
- Leave the cream on for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove the film and wipe the area clean.
